Frankel is Lead Standards Architect for Model-Driven Systems
at SAP Labs. He has over
25 years of experience as a programmer, architect, and technical
strategist. He is the author the book “Model-Driven Architecture®:
Applying MDA® to Enterprise Computing.” He also is lead editor of
the book “The MDA Journal.” He served several terms as a member of
the Architecture Board of the Object Management Group (OMG), the body
that manages the MDA standards.
Dr. Brown is an IBM Distinguished Engineer with the IBM Rational software group. He is responsible for aspects of future product strategy in IBM Rational’s design and construction products. He defines technical strategy and evangelizes product direction with customers, looking to improve software development efficiency through visual modeling, service-oriented design, generating code from abstract models, and systematic reuse. His current focus is on how service-oriented solutions are created and evolved, with particular interest in software process improvement, Model Driven Architecture, software design and development, and component-based reuse. He received a Ph.D. egree from the University of Newcastle in the United Kingdom. Dr.
Ferronato is the CTO at Soluta.Net, a provider of consulting
services related to MDA, EA, EAI, SOA and component-based development.
He has over 15 years of experience in all aspects of
distributed systems development and he is internationally
recognized as an expert in large-scale architectures, component
development and MDA. Dr. Ferronato is an active member of the OMG, a
Senior Consultant for the Cutter Consortium and a frequent speaker at
conferences worldwide. Jérôme Schieb has joined Novartis Development IT in July 2004 and is Lead Architect on the Clinical Trial Management System. He ensures that all current projects aiming at enhancing the system comply to both the current CTMS architecture and design as well as to the new SOA strategy defined by the IT organization. In addition, he is defining the vision for the future architecture of the CTMS. Philipp H. Oser ist Lead Architect bei ELCA. Er beschäftigt sich primär mit Software Architektur und J2EE-Erweiterungsframeworks. Herr Oser hat an der ETH Lausanne und an der Carnegie Mellon University Informatik studiert. Daneben hat er einen Lehrauftrag an der Fachhochschule Nordwestschweiz. Andres
Koch hat seit mehr als 20 Jahren Erfahrungen in
Software-Engineering im industriellen wie auch kommerziellen Umfeld
gesammelt. Er ist Gründer und Geschäftsführer der Object Engineering
GmbH. Als Software-Architekt und als Lehrbeauftragter am NDS für
Software-Engineering der Hochschule für Technik Rapperswil ist er
spezialisiert auf Software-Architekturen für verteilte Systeme. Steffen
Lentz ist Experte für systematisches Software Engineering
bei Zühlke. Er unterstützt große Projekte in den Bereichen
Architektur, Requirements Management, Configuration Management und
Quality Assurance, speziell auch bei räumlich verteilter Projektdurchführung
und im Offshore-Kontext.
